It has to be admitted ... she is showing her age. Unlike the fallen, of whom it is said " age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn" , it seems to be getting the better of her. As she gets along, any bump seems to call forth a groan and trouble her whole body. Yet the spirit is still strong and she still has the drive to get out and about. But the years have taken their toll and here and there it really shows.
But love is such that I'm more inclined to concentrate on all we've been through together, the company and good times with family we've shared, the difficult times too, when she just couldn't go on! And yet with some tlc she has always gotten her act together and we'd start all over again! It's true, you just can't keep a good girl down!
But if something really serious happens....what price loyalty? And younger things , paying more attention to their weight , don't consume so much and that's important on my retiree's income.
